Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th December 1991. The son of Manny James, and Patty James of mixed race. He has the Nigerian father as well as a Caucasian mother. His father is Nigerian and his mother is caucasian american. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010 and then attended Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in the year 2015. James first became famous by his character on The Bachelorette's reality TV star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The next Bachelor was James who was one of the very first African American to play the main role. James is a perfect fit for the part because his attractive, well-rounded, large-bodied personality. Rachael Krukconnell became his love interest at the end of season. Following year, 2021, he was paired with the well-known dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold took 12th place.
